This intuitive and freestyle ink drawing I did in 2007, draws upon several of my themes.

Certain words spring to mind - ocean, movement, pattern, contour, flow, energy,

… the list goes on and on.

The ocean does hold all these meanings, and the beach is the boundary… the cross roads.. the edge..

Its the place where we feel just how insignificant we really are…

… but also our incredible potential…

    I am from a small fishing town called LaScie in Newfoundland, Canada.

    Much of my work is influenced by the nearby Atlantic Ocean, as well as personal experience.

    My themes vary from straight forward scenery that depict the beauty of this part of the world, to purely psychological and emotional imagery.

    For the most part, my themes are deeply personal and autobiographical.
